Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing our bakery! Please review the following terms to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.

A 50% deposit is required at the time of placing your order.
All orders must be placed at least two (2) weeks in advance. Pickup date will be scheduled and confirmed at the time of booking.
Orders requested with less than two (2) weeks’ notice will be considered rush orders. Additional rush fees will apply and will be determined based on the complexity and timeline of the order.
Rush orders are not guaranteed and are accepted at the bakery’s discretion.
A service fee is applied to each order.
Any delays from the bakery will be communicated in writing at least 72 hours in advance of the scheduled pickup.
Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours before the scheduled pickup.
The 50% deposit is non-refundable if the order is canceled more than 48 hours after booking.
Cancellations made within 72 hours of pickup may incur additional charges.
If any issues arise, we ask that you contact our bakery directly so we can work together toward a fair resolution.
We value collaboration! Both the customer and bakery agree to maintain clear and timely communication to ensure your order meets or exceeds expectations.

Changes to Orders

We will gladly accommodate reasonable changes whenever possible. Requests for changes must be submitted at least 72 hours before your scheduled pickup. Any requests for changes made within 72 hours will have additional fees. Additional charges may apply for design changes, upgraded ingredients, rush requests, or order additions.

Refund Policy

At Barrio Bakery, every order is handcrafted specifically for you using fresh, quality ingredients. Because our baked goods are made to order, we kindly ask that you review our refund policy before placing your reservation.

Order Cancellations

Orders canceled more than 72 hours before the scheduled pickup date may receive a refund of any payments made including the deposit.
Orders canceled within 72 hours of the scheduled pickup are not eligible for a deposit refund and will be charged a cancellation fee, as preparation has typically begun and ingredients have been purchased specifically for your order.

Custom & Personalized Orders

Custom cakes, desserts, and personalized items are created specifically to your requested design, flavors, and specifications. Because these items cannot be resold, they are not eligible for refunds once production has begun.

Pickup

Customers are responsible for picking up their order at the agreed-upon date and time.

Failure to pick up an order does not qualify for a refund.
Once an order has been picked up, Barrio Bakery is not responsible for damage caused by improper handling, transportation, storage, weather exposure, or failure to follow care instructions.
On rare occasions, the bakery may be willing to deliver for an additional fee.

Quality Commitment

We are committed to providing delicious, high-quality baked goods made with care. If you believe there is an issue with your order due to a bakery error, please contact us within 24 hours of pickup or delivery.

To help us evaluate the concern, we may request:

Clear photographs of the product.
A description of the issue.
The return of any remaining product when appropriate.

If Barrio Bakery determines that the issue resulted from our error, we may, at our sole discretion:

Offer a replacement product.
Provide a partial refund.
Issue store credit for a future order.

Refunds will not be issued for:

Personal taste preferences.
Minor color or decoration variations that naturally occur with handmade products.
Damage after pickup.
Failure to follow storage or serving instructions.
Incorrect information provided by the customer.

Barrio Bakery's Right to Cancel

Barrio Bakery reserves the right to cancel an order due to unforeseen circumstances, emergencies, ingredient shortages, or events beyond our control. If this occurs, the customer will receive a full refund of all payments made, including the deposit.
